What His Delirium Disclosed:
Smudged constellations and sooty bruising
in rose mist colliding fisted sutures
with flicked graffiti, on which he's scribbled
shivering thatch strokes, adrift crescendos
of syllables all a-clattering like
pearls latched to bamboo saplings, shards to thorned
patches, chants to restless tunnels of throat—
which he shutters but (taunting lightning from
his mind's turret's den) later detonates
into gluts of clustered, cycloning zones.
